Chicken thighs (Air Fryer), Filipino Style

Crispy, juicy and fast — a Filipino-inspired air fryer take on Chicken thighs with Lemon-garlic yogurt and Quinoa.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs (about 512 g)
  • Baking powder
  • Brown sugar
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper
  • Lime juice
  • Cornstarch
  • Lemon-garlic yogurt

Steps

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry; cut into even pieces for quick, even cooking.
  3. Toss with oil and seasonings until lightly coated.
  4. Arrange in a single layer in the basket—do not overcrowd.
  5. Air-fry for 6 minutes; shake or flip halfway for even browning.
  6. Continue cooking 8 minutes until crisp and cooked through.
  7. Rest 2–3 minutes to let juices redistribute.
  8. Serve hot with lemon-garlic yogurt and quinoa.
